wallter
Live north of Forest Lake, MN and was hoping to find some geese up around Rush City when go scout on Friday. It's been years since I've huted late season with this much snow. What are you guys thinking? Where would you drive on Friday morning (rivers)? Scott M
I was wondering the same thing. I remember hunting in a couple inches of snow 3 years ago, but not this much. Sure makes hiding tough unless you've got snow camo, which hasn't been a going concern for a number of years now.I've heard that a lot of birds have left compared to years past... Eric Wettschreck
I used to live north of Forest Lake.Where I live now, SW MN, we have snow and lots of geese. Around here we take rakes and shovels and scratch a bunch of spots out of a field to make it look like a big spot that flocks have been feeding at. Then, it's field hunting as usual.
