Ski trip pics

I made it up the to the North Shore and Gunflint Trail a couple of times last winter to ski, and I can't wait for the first trip this year. Here are some interesting pics from last year.

Nice winter scenics, but skiing at -20? Are you nuts?

Really like the first and last one. Second time I looked at Palisade Head, I noticed the eagle sitting in the lower right hand corner. Neat!

4 and 5 stand out for me. The black and white treatment is perfect for those shots.

Am I nuts? I don't think so, I was actually sweating.

Skiing is about the only thing you can comfortably do outside when it is -20. Anything else where you aren't moving enough it starts to get a little chilly.

Perfect weather for skiing. I've camped and slept in -18 degrees and was very comfortable. I've already had the downhill skiis out. Now for the x-country skis turn. Nice pics.
