fishermann222
ok, thats ALOT to ask, there are books written on each one of these subjects. I would start with purchasing some books and reading through the trapping posts here on this site and see if you are still interested. If you are go to one of the MTA meetings or meet someone off of here to take you out on their line. you can NOT beat on the line training.
walleye101
Best thing you can do is get subscriptions to The Trapper and Predator Caller (free if you join the MN Trappers Association)and Fur, Fish and Game magazine. Most of your questions will be answered and much more.
Muthagoose
FFG is a excellent source of intell, The best videos I have seen are the Miranda and Gilsvik both are sold out of the FFG mag.. Heres a little tip start with water line trapping like mink rats, beaver ,otter and coon,,A good confidence builder none of them are overly scent cautious. When ya step into fox, yote be a scent cautions boil and clean everything and observe this also when you are making sets. When ya get ready to buy equipment MN trapline supply is the BEST.. Tim Caven is a true master in the field and runs a top notch business.
