rscabin
Does anyone have plans or ideas for a blind on a 14' v hull duck boat. Thanks
commander019
Here is the one I built. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Its on its 4th year, I am hoping to upgrade to a bigger boat in the next two years. The blind frame cost me less than $75. The fast grass can be bought or just tie on real grass. The height is adjustable and it only takes a few seconds to put up or drop down. I used burlap as a backer and a wind shield.

rscabin
commander019 looks good. What type of material is the frame made out of. Did you come up with the design yourself or was it a kit. Thanks

I just screwed it to the top rail of the boat so it can be removed whenever. Its hinged with some bolts. I drilled several holes to make the height adjustable by placing hitch pins through whatever setting you want it at.

Where did u get the frame???? me too I believe...and the trailer looks just like ours too. Think our boat was made in the 50's though and the trailer is from the 70s. Got the whole package for $350 though so can't complain.I think we're putting an new blind on this year also, so I'd appreciate the bracket pics also commander. Thanks a lot!SA/ wdw
commander019
It is a 14' but I'm not sure of the make. Never paid attention to that!! The blind frame I made. The boat and trailer was purchased as a package for around $300 years ago. That boat is a tank. It has broken ice and gotten us into some good late season shoots over the years.
