FISH hOUSE FLOOR REDO

WALLEYEDUDE2001

Question

I am looking for input on how to put an insulated floor on to a frame which I hope to use to haul a 4-wheeler ? What is the best way to do this ? Only use 3/4" gt, no insultation. I have seen using a 1/2" layer, then 1.5" polystyrene & then another 1/2" layer, would this be strong enough ? Not worried about the frame, only the floor.

I used 3/4" green treated plywood for the bottom, then 1 1/2" pink foamboard on top of that, then 1/2" treated plywood for the top layer. When walking on the top the 1/2" has some give and cushion against the pink foam. I just built this this summer and have yet to get it on the lake.
