Vexilar Noise??

Latley my vexilar has been making an irretating "clicking/rattling"noise.I think it is some contact on the inside of face of the unit but i'm not sure.Has anyone else experienced this problem?If so how can it be fixed.I have never taken the front off,not sure if i want to,but i can't take that noise much longer.Any info would be greatley appreciated,Ice Slabs

slabs, I have a problem similar to yours I think. What I do is adjust the knobs on the side and move the angle to which your looking at it. I think the connections in the back of the unit get pinched and this always stops the problem for me. Maybe yours is a different problem. Joe

I just whack mine with my ice scoop and it usually shuts right up. Someday, I'll pay!...T (Kids-do not try this!)

My vexilar is the loudest when the fish aren't bitting.

took mine to fish lectronics for a tune up,
replaced brushes,cleaned it out etc,sounds
much better,takes about a week
