I finally killed a respectable deer . (I was beginning to think the deer Gods were mad at me.) This was soooo close to a $350 taxi bill! All it needed was decent brow tines and a few more points. O-well, he'll look good on a plaque.

I was up near the treeline pictured when I shot him at the bottom of the hill just behind me.

as a nonresident, all I get is doe tags. However, all I see is bucks. I saw some decent bucks Saturday, all standing thee wondering what that huge pumpkin was doing at the bottom of the tree. No does. Sunday was slow. Wife wants to move to SD, then those bucks are gonna get a surprise
