Plankton maybe?

I was fishing last night and just after sunset it looked like my Vexilar was getting interference in the top 6-8 feet of the water column (I was in 30 feet of water), but no one was fishing within 300 yards of me. It was there for about 10-15 minutes, and then dissappeared. I didn't think much about it until later when I started to change the water in my minnow bucket and ended up getting a few things in the new water that looked like a V or maybe a Y. Kinda like a piece of fish tail, but they weren't. I couldn't tell if they were alive or not, does anyone know what they could have been?

Sounds like cyclops to me, they are kinda shaped like a Y and you can normally see quite a few in your hole if you look close enough.

Stuff floats through all the time on the vex. Usually little bugs n critters, plankton being one of em. If a minnow came through on the vex it would still show up red, so you can imagine how small all the green blips must be. Borrow a buddies underwater camera sometime and drop her down when you see the cloud move in. You will see all sorts of critters scootin around in the water column.
