LBSPORTSMEN
I was reminiscing with my grandfather of some old fishing trips and stories. He was telling my about these two fishing lures that were deadly. He unfortunately lost both of these the same day. I was thinking that these would be a great Christmas present. I am not exactly sure if these are the correct names, but I believe that they are a Spin-a-diddy, and a Nip-a-diddy??? Any information would be very helpful…
Hammer Handle
Maybe a Deep-R-Doodle? I believe I have one. What a great gift!! Let me look at my lures and if I have a spare I can send you one. I collect lures and have a closet full that I am slowly getting rid of. Actually, I was thinking of a different lure. Is it a topwater lure? If so, it could be a Nip-I-Diddee. They are still being made by Luhr-Jensen. I believe they still make them in wood too. Search the web for Luhr-Jensen and do a search of their lures. The Nip-I-Diddee is listed there is a variety of colors.

Hammer Handle
I think that is one cool gift. He will be surprised they are still made and will wonder why he didn't buy them years ago! As for some great lures, why were they ever discountinued? If they caught fish and worked great...they should still keep making them! Problem is, they want to catch fisherman with new lures...not fish.
