DCF
Anybody been out to the Watertown area lately. We leave Thur for 3-4 days. Just wondering what some of the reports are. Hope this cold front will push some new northerns down. Thanksfor any reports.
smnduck
Near watertown 10-31---11-02 very tough. Ducks are not sitting on public water. Few fields out so the # of fields to hunt are small. Tough to get permission. Should change in the next few days with more birds coming in and more crops getting harvested. More birds and crops out to the north. Limited out field hunting mallards every day. Every farmer we ask said it was OK to hunt ducks, but we really expressed that we were duck hunting only.http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/Dolsmi/sodakhuntmallards.jpghttp://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/Dolsmi/DSCN0659.jpghttp://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/Dolsmi/8Oct07.jpgHere's a satellite tracking program that the Arkansas DNR put a few mallards to study their flights. Kind of interesting. You can see where the mallards are daily and follow their flight tracking.http://waterfowl.cast.uark.edu/
