Marsh Lake action?

Just curious if anyone has been on Marsh? If so, how was the hunting and were there many ducks? I'm going out in the morning and just looking for some last minute confidence.

Sorry I didn't have any info to post but I am heading out that way this week to see my parents and do some hunting. Just wondering if you had any luck and if you saw many birds.

For a bluebird day with no wind we did pretty well. It was really slow until about 10am, 1 bluebill and one bufflehead. No mallards showed interest but there were flocks everywhere. Really high though. About 10:15 the mallards started coming back from feeding and there were a few flocks that were really looking to land in the dekes. We wound up with 5 greenheads, 1 bluebill and 1 bufflehead. I personally shot like a first timer. I should have had 2 geese and a couple more greenheads. Oh yeah, I missed the bufflehead as he went north and I missed him again when he came back south. My buddy put him down. If I would have gotten him he'd be going on the wall.

If you go don't bail out to early. Stick it out until noon if you can. The mallards went out and back in at all times of the morning. The last two greenheads we shot at 11:45.

Thanks for the info, I never made it out on the water. In this wind I figured being in the field chasing pheasants would be more productive than chasing kayak down the shore while it is blowing away.
