Any luck lately?

Boy, this fourm has sure died! Anyone had any luck lately? Last time I got out was October 16th, and we did really well on Pool 4. Lots of flow, but the channel cats were all over our shad in slack water areas.

Haven't been on the river(MN) for just over a week, but the channels were biting good when we were out then. Slack water areas were key for numbers. Heavy snags also produced a couple.

I haven't been out this week (hope to change that tonight after work), but last week they were still going. I haven't gotten into much for numbers, but they seem to be bigger, on average, than what I've been catching all year.

If my home computer wasn't down, I'd have some pics up. I had an 11lber last week (in the rain) and a couple in the 8-10 lb range. All on shad or sucker, all in low current areas (from shore).

A week and a half ago fished St. Paul Kinda by Fort Snelling after dark. One channel about 10lbs. Walleyes were out in numbers and I think the buggers were messing with my shad. So I Threw out a crawler to see if it was sheepies or what. Pulled in a 12" walleye.

Last week downtown st paul had a few good tugs on cut sucker, but no takers.
