Finally, some ducks!

Finally saw some ducks today, even if we didn't get very close to them. These aren't such great photos, but it gives a little idea as to the number of ducks we saw. Taken with a 70-200 @ 200, ISO 400 and 5.6.

Most of what we saw were bills, but do my eyes deceive me or are these redheads? (know not very clear, but sure look like redheads to me)

....all nice shots Ken!...actually remind me of the duck hunting days of years gone by on Nett Lake when thousands of ducks would be in the air at day break......(they do like like red heads to me ) ...ahhhh....memories

Dude, where'd you find them? Birch, right? I was hoping for ducks all day and didn't see any.

I have seen rafts like this on Birch - in the narrows - but not for MANY years. No, we had to paddle and portage in about 4 miles to find these.
