TUMBLEWEED
Not having any portable experiencebefore this season, I was introducedto the flying sensation you can find yourselfin sometimes at the hand of mother wind. Maybe this should become a new memberof the x games. Wait for the right gustand go sailing across the lake!! Luckily I had someone with me last nightand we were able to get it back undercontrol, or I might still be out theresomewhere!!!!I guess I can now assumeI earned my sailing badge. What's next????? Sturgeon46
These things need to be anchored to the ice. Many ways to do it. If you get out of your shelter, they can blow amazingly far. Often they get destroyed when they hit shore.
Gissert
A shovel's worth of gravel thrown under the tub does wonders for keeping still. If the wind is really bucking, I'll leave it tied to the snomobile or ATV.
