Come Sail Away With Me!!!!!!

Not having any portable experience
before this season, I was introduced
to the flying sensation you can find yourself
in sometimes at the hand of mother wind.
Maybe this should become a new member
of the x games. Wait for the right gust
and go sailing across the lake!!
Luckily I had someone with me last night
and we were able to get it back under
control, or I might still be out there
somewhere!!!!I guess I can now assume
I earned my sailing badge.What's next?????

These things need to be anchored to the ice. Many ways to do it. If you get out of your shelter, they can blow amazingly far. Often they get destroyed when they hit shore.

A shovel's worth of gravel thrown under the tub does wonders for keeping still. If the wind is really bucking, I'll leave it tied to the snomobile or ATV.
