Floor Replacement

I looked at a 15 year old boat that had a bad spot in the floor. It's a single console 17' boat with spots for 4 seats. I know there may be alot of variables that affect the cost, but does anyone have a rough idea of what it would cost to fix it, or maybe even replace the floor?

If it is in fact an isolated spot, then you'd probably be looking at maybe a hundred n fifty to a couple hundred. We have seen several boats like this, so it is possible, but make sure it's not worse than it looks. The best tool for this is a sharp thin pointed object like a scratch awl. Take and poke around with it in different spots, especially in the back corners and around the console. This will go right through any bad spots, but won't leave any visible damage. If there are other spots as well and you'd be looking at a whole floor, usually when we do a floor they tend to run between $500 and $1,000.
