St Cloud Area Duck Taxidermist

I'm looking for a quality waterfowl taxidermist in the St Cloud area - any recommendations? I'm not really concerned with the price...just want the duck done right. Thanks!

flyaway taxidermy does an awsome job reasonable prices also.

That seems like a good price. He's $75 more than that now with a 8-12 month turn around. $425 if you want it in 1-2 months. Look at the HSOforum.

Just don't go to Scott's.

Animal Arts Taxidermy in Golden Valley does really nice ducks too..not exactly St Cloud area but an option. I think he charges around $250 as well.

Flyway is awesome he did a sweet redhead for me last year for $350 and it was done in under a month

Jerry Froerlic at Flyway Taxidermy is one of the best in the area. Be willing to pay a little more to get a piece back that you will be proud to display and will last a lifetime. Thats who I learned the trade from. He is a great guy to boot.

I just checked out his HSOforum...I think I've found my man...I can't believe some of those mounts. They look beautiful. Thanks for the suggestions.

He's someone I found in the paper right in St. Cloud when I was younger and going to school without much money lying around. My 4 curled mallard was only around a hundred bucks but I told him I wanted it flying and when it finally came back much later than he promised it was sitting. Of course he couldn't find the receipt to prove how I wanted it.

Oh trust me I learned my lesson. Like I said I was young and didn't have the money. Jerry at flyway will be mounting the white mallard.

I would also say jerry at flyway does an excellent job. He did a redhead for me last year and it turned out pretty sweet. my buddy also has 5 mounts that he did and all turned out good.

tippman, the reason i asked i just took 6 perch from winnie we got last march to a taxedermist named scott. he has done a chucker and a pheasant for me in the past and im happy with them and im real fussy when it comes to good taxi work. hope this isnt the same scott, if it is hes not bad now.
