waterfowl spots close to chaska with boat launch

i live in chaska and want to find a waterfowl spot close ... i have a canoe to hunt from and need a spot that is close to the parking lot? any help would be great for a first timer.

plenty on the minnesota river and you have some federal land pretty close on and right off the minnesota river.

used to live in chaska and hunted what they call depot lake on the south side of chaska. When you cross the river headed south yo will see an access with a gate on the west side of the road. You can drive all the way back and drop a boat in from there. Its been 10+ yrs since I hunted it but usexd to be pretty good. Its all back water of the river. good luck!!
