Where do you put your spinning wing decoy?

I have added a spinning wing (wind activated) decoy to my spread this year. I am not sure where to place it. Should it go out on the far edge of the spread or in closer to where we have the blind? Anyone having better luck one way or another?

sometimes we use multiple. we usually have open pocket in the spread(s) for the duck to land in and the spinners are usually place on the edge of these pockets.

we do the same thing as far as a pocktet for the ducks to land, so basically you have two groups of dekes with a space in between. The spinning wing goes in the middle of either group of dekes.
