Here's my take on the game.

Z should have either been lifted in the top of the 6th for a pinch hitter with the bases loaded and two outs OR they should have pitched him at least another inning since his pitch count was only at 85. I know Marmol has been Da Man for the last few months but why did you pony up 91 Large to Z if you were not going to ride that horse? Bad percentage moves by Sweet Lou. Z did his thing and did not implode but it looked like Lou was focusing more on Game 4 than on Game 1 ! (note to Lou....THERE MAY NOT BE A GAME 4)

All in all when your top 5 hitters go 1 for 22 you are not going to do much in the game unless your bottom is on Fiy-Ya.

They better get their acts together tonight or Wiggly Field will be very clean come Sunday morning as the D-Backs sweep the Cubbie out of the playoffs!

Windy are you psychic as well as psychotic?

From what I have seen so far in the playoffs after a small sampling barring a Cleveland loss at home, the two best teams in the A.L. are the Indians and Red Sox. The Red Sox are playing well enough to beat up and injured and haggled Angels squad and the Spankee's hopes rest on Pettite tonight. While in Rocky Mania home of the Triple A Smokies they are rolling up some fat numbers on floundering Phil's.

So I will have to reevaluate my playoff predictions because as most we underestimated some clubs.
