minnesotamusky
Just wondering how the muskie fishing is on Cedar Lake by Aitkin?? Never been there before. Looks like there is some pretty good structure. Is there a campground on the lake? I'm looking for a lake to fish for a day on my way up to North Star. SJonesi
Great little Pond.Incredible breaks and lush weedgrowth.Released a 43 there yesterday off a hump.Very easy to fish, just keep the boat in deeper water. Steve
younggun
my grandma has a place there and is where I group up fishing. I am assuming you guys are talking about muskie fishing? I know they stalked some years ago and I see guys muskie fishing now and then, for me it's a great largemouth lake and I do alright with the walleyes. I always have wondered how big those stalked muskies are now. And yes there is a campground/trailor park but can't remember the name

Tim_Anderson
There's at least a couple of resorts on the lake....one off of Hwy. 210, and the other off of Aitkin County 28 (the Cedar Lake Road, also called Pioneer Ave.) For some reason I can't remember the names of the resorts though....memory ain't working today. You could probably just stop in though....probably don't need to worry about them being full up this time of the year.October can be good fishing on Cedar. If things are slow on the structure, don't hesitate to troll out in the main basin. I've had some great success out there in 50 fow.
minnesotamusky
In two days of fishing we got three follows and I had one on, but it got off right before my brother could net it.
