Homemade quick strike rig

Who out there makes their own quick strike rigs? I was planning on making some this fall and I would appreciate if somebody would share how to make an adjustable rig, in the past I have only made steel leaders with single trebles and I still have plenty of wire to try to make the quick strike. If anybody has a picture or two of some or could post a picture of a store bought one that would be great!

I use knotable wire, and snell them on #6 or #8 treble hooks. You could snell the first one and then just slide the second one through the wire. At the end I do a double loop knot. I dont like the slide hook on live bait, just seems to bunch up with the weight of the chub. I snell the trebles at three inches apart on most of the rigs. Sometimes if small baits are all you can buy, the single treble rig works best. If you are using 7"+ in length, then a four inch spread will work. I use knot cement from the fly shop to lock the knots on the trebles in place.

I use a Leader making Kit with a roll of 7 Strand Wire. At the end, I attach a Treble and crimp it on. Then cut a piece of Heat Shrink tubing(length to cover off approx 3/4" of the shaft. I slide the second Treble on so that the eyes face each other. The piece of Heat Shrink is then slid over the Wire and Shaft and heated up.

I use a twistertail body instead of the bit of shrink tube. Adds a bit of color to the rig.
