FireLine Micro Ice & Bobber Stops

Does anyone have any comments good or bad about this line? I've been contemplating trying something different.

Also, I've heard that the standard tie slip bobber knot doesn't hold with this line... does anyone have any suggestions?

It will hold but, leave enough of the bobber stop on it so you can cinch it up tight periodically, it will start to slip. Great line, have used it summer and winter. It is the exact same as regular 2lb diameter fireline. The rubber bobber stops work great on it but, take care to wet your line before sliding them or it will cut right through the stop!

If you tie your own stops add an additional two wraps top and bottom to the knot, it will hold better.

Yeah, I've also 'doubled up' on the slipknots...they will hold better that way.
