Another Summer past

Another year has past hoping all of you who wanted to made the trip north to experience the wonders. Ready for one more MN winter, hopefully the last.

A long winter of ice fishing and dreaming of the first Kenai red on the fly rod......

My wife and I had the best time this past summer, for two weeks we timed the red run just perfect! Could'nt tear myself away from the Kenai and my fly rod. What a blast!

Nothing on earth like it! And worth every penny!

The TFO #8 weight rod performed flawlessly.

I want to move there but the wife has other idias

Bings landing sure was a zoo this last year. We fished that just one day then my wife got a split shot just above her eye. OUCH! That was enough of that! Then we found calmer crowds just outside of Soldatna. and we cought more fish.

I'll be dreamin for a long time now!

Alaskadreamin the best time to be here is fall and winter I did not go on a big game hunt this fall as I had knee surgery this summer, was a bummer as I had drawn a goat tag for a GREAT area. Bird hunting has been spectacular and trapping season is only weeks away for beaver Life in Alaska begins in the fall
