tunrevir
Just wondering if anybody might know the value or where to find the value of an old duck stamp. I have two unsigned from my Granddad. The cost on the stamp is 6 cents and it is the picture of a male and female wood duck in flight? Says waterfowl conservation on the left side of the stamp and United States on the bottom. Are these Federal stamps? Thanks for any input!Tunrevir~
hanson
There is a great book on the market called "The Duck Stamp Story."Also, there is an awesome HSOforum called "SHDuck", the Sam Houston Duck Company. Check it out, you'll find your stamp there along with values and anything else you ever wanted to know about it.
brittman
Sorry. The 6 cent Woodduck stamp is not a Federal Waterfowl Hunting Stamp. The 1st stamp issued at $1 face value. What you have is 1968 6 cent US Postage Stamps. I believe the value would not exceed face value, but it never hurts to check it out.
