Too soon for smallies?

Thinking about heading up on Sept. 17th and 18th.

looking for smallies. Are they going yet or should I wait a little while?

As Craig mentioned in the the other thread, bass have been going well all summer long.. Off shore structure, drop offs, weeds, etc are all holding fish.. Cranks, jigs, spinnerbaits, and livebait have all been catching smallies. Some big tanks are finding the net as well.. Good time as any to come and enjoy some smallie fishing.
