Blue Kayak
I'd like to take a camera out with me in the kayak, but most things get wet so I use disposable cameras or nothing. There are some waterproof camera bags for digital cameras where you shoot though the bag. Supposedly these bags are supposed to protect cameras to a depth of 15 feet, but I just want the camera protected in case of a flip.I'm not looking for great quality photos, just a record of fish caught. Do any of you have experience with these bags? I like catfishing, so a lot of the shots would be at night. Is there a problem with reflections when the flash is shot through a bag? rushing
Jerry I use a water proof type box for my camera. Keeps my camera dry and protected from knocks and bumps while in my backpack. You can find them at Scheels and they have cheaper ones at Walmart.
Blue Kayak
Hi Rob, Thanks for the tip. I just bought an inexpensive ($15) camera bag at REI. But, I'll take a look at those camera boxes next time I'm at Scheels. Hope to get some pictures this weekend, which would mean that I actually caught a fish.
