This is my first year for early goose. I was wondering if it is leagal to set my decoys up in the field late tonight?

It is my understanding that if you are on private property it is possible but i am not sure if tonite would be legal...

That's probably a lot of money to be leaving sitting out in the field. It would suck to get out there tom. and no decoys. I would just get up a little earlier and set them in the morning. I know before that first day in Canada I can't sleep anyway.

from my understanding it is completely legal to set your dekes up the night prior to opener in a private location

we talked about doing it but decided against it because sometimes condensation (dew) tends to form on decoys left overnight...plus getting up an extra 20 or 30 minutes early isn't a big deal for us
