Caught this one in heavy cover up the Echo Trail this afternoon.

Not very careful, this bird. I reckon its days are numbered. It was part of a group of six birds. No, I won't give you grouse hunters GPS coords.

gotta love those grouse!....nice capture Steve!....I've been seeing quite a few on my travels afield....saw a bunch drumming this spring...hunters should see quite a few birds this season...all I want is a few photos
