bigshooter23
Got a really good field to hunt for this weekend. only problem its a wide open alfalfa with a 20 yard wide stretch of black dirt down the center. thats where the geese been sitting in the mornings. any ideas of a blind to make from scratch or tarps to lay in the alfalfa of field. tearin' lips
Wear dark/black clothing and "mud" yourself up and just lay in the tilled dirt. Unless you have acess to some green fake grass that you can lay over yourself. I think blending into the dirt will be easier though.
bigshooter23
i was thinking of taking a canvas tarp and rubbing it real good in mud. and lay that over two of us. good or bad idea
Down2Earth
Where some dark clothing and just put a Magnum deek over your chest.
thaJman
Are you hunting in the watertown area by chance? Doubtful, but I know of a field out this way with that same strange 20 feet plowed through the middle.

96trigger
We've had similar situations, if possible and allowable by the farmer, set the dekes in the mud, camo up and sit in the alfafla. I like to pull some of the alfalfa cover myself with it to break up my outline.
