Deep water no stretch panfish line

I was thinking of trying some no stretch line for deep panfish (30-60') to try to detect strikes and feel lure easier, any recomentations. Was thinking of some kind of super thin 4#.

Try Berkley Fireline in the 4/1 test.

No stretch.
4# test 1# diameter.
Polymer knot or Trilene knot works best.
No quick clips, tie direct to jig.

Yep, go with the fireline micro-ice that stuff works good!

I like to use the palomar knot. I have had no problems with it.

I also like the Fireline but I tie a 2 ft. leader of clear mono directly to the Fireline with a back to back uniknot. You get the sensitivity and the low vis this way.

I use P-Line. Its a great low stretch mono. The one and two pound are very strong.
