LwnmwnMan2
It's a tough call right now with the weather we've been having. The grass is growing about 6-8" right now, and that's on the properties that HAVEN'T been recently fertilized. If you're goint go mow it, do it REAL quick, before the new grass starts to come up. One thing you're going to want to make sure, is that you don't leave a thick layer of cut grass on the areas that you just seeded.Mow high, about 5" to keep the clippings minimal while the new grass tries to come up.One other thing, if you can mow around the areas that you overseeded, that would help, but if your whole yard is done, then yes, I would just mow real high, try to walk as light as possible.Last point is try to do it with a push mower rather than a rider, that will keep the chance of injury down as well. TKO_PUNCH
Thanks for the info. I think I'll just wait because there is no way I'm going to push mow 2 acres. Plus I think that the grass is not quite 5" yet. I mowed and bagged before I reseeded. I will mow once the new grass is about 3-4" long. I'll just have to mow a couple times, starting with a high setting. Thanks again~
