Iowa Pheasant Report?

one lady I talked to, not a hunter, said she has putting her brakes on a lot around Specer......Dry spring, should be good everywhere.... maybee even here in the land of ten thousand lakes and 12 roosters.......Go get em

It was only a dry spring in certain parts of the state not state wide. Most of west, west central and southwest iowa had a bunch of rain and cool temps this spring. The prelimary reports are to expect overall numbers to be close to last year. The are saying a swath fom nw to se should be good. However that was before the monsons of this week set in. I live in central part of the state and after tonite we will have had in excess of 10 inches since sunday with heavier amounts to the north. We are going to need an extended dry period or it will be a mess this fall trying to get what crops are left out of the fields.
