mrbigdawg
A friend of mine was talking about a product that keeps your hole from freezing over. Something about a balloon thing that you can blow up in the hole and it will not freeze over. If there is such a product let me know if you have or have not and where to go for one thanks. Seabass77
Try a coffee can with a piece of copper tubing coming from the bottom of it. Fill it with charcoal and light it.
Guest
They were/are called Hole Savers or somthin like that. I had one years ago and it worked pretty good all in all. They had a loop at the bottom of em that you could tie one of those yellow skinny minnow containers to. I used to leave my minnows at the shack all week suspended under that thing. Worked great keepin them lively ! It was a pain getting it down the hole as it was about 3 feet long though. I used to bungy cord mine down to keep it from poppin back up the hole.I hav'nt seen them around though in at least 10 + years now and don't know if they even make em. Scott
Every year they do have them at the ice fishing show, but I don't recall which store carried them. Good excuse to check out the whole place.
