    FL-18 or LX-3?

I really like my FL18. I'd have a hard time parting with it. I will admit though that I have not used the Marcum. As stated previously, You can't go wrong with either one! Good Luck.
  2. Smitty, I'm sure you'd have a good time on Mille Lacs, but if you don't mind driving a couple of hours further I think you will have better fishing on Lake of the Woods. Plus you'll have an opportunity to stop at Red for a little crappie action. Good Luck, Scott
  3. Mudman, I believe that the Force motor that is on this boat was made by Mercury not Chrysler. It really was a mistake by Mercury to retain the Force name. A lot of people had problems with the Chrysler motor, but I haven't heard of that with this motor.
  4. Thank you all for the replies. Bae501, I'll definitely get back to you if we end up going. Thanks again!
  5. Any info on Temple Bay lodge? My wife and I are thinking about trying a fall trip up there. Thanks!
  6. I'm very interested as well. Scott

    Arctic Cat ATV's

Any one have an opinion on these? I'm looking at the 500. One of the nice things with these is that you can get all of your accessories right at Gander, but I guess it really wouldn't be any more of a problem to get your accessories at the dealer. I appreciate any advice. thanks
  9. Check the regs, but I believe that if you buy a license after the season opens you need to wait 24 hours until it is valid. As far as your question regarding the doe permit it depends on the zone and permit area that you are hunting. It looks like Cass Lake is in zone 197 which is a lottery permit area. If that is the case then you will not be able to shoot a doe. The deadline for applying for an either sex permit was 9/4. Good Luck.
  10. Yes, it is legal, because it is only minerals. I've been using it for a couple of years and it's amazing the holes that get dug around where you put the block down. You need to get it down soon for the firearms opener because the rain and moisture is what really activates it and gets the minerals in the soil.
