vexilar battery replacement

Im in need of a new battery, my fl-8 has a 7 amp battery, can I get a bigger amp battery?, what are some good replacement brands of batterys?

As long as you stick to a gel cell type battery you will be fine. I know I have seen 9 amp/hr batteries as well as 12 and I think someone on here had a 15. Obviously they are much bigger (won't fit in a vexilar case) but the additional battery life is great for extended fishing trips. I always hear of people heading to Batteries Plus or someplace similar.

Cabela's sells an 8 A-h that is the same size as the Vex battery.

There are some 9 A-h out there, but if you have the Vex Pro-Pack they don't leave a lot of room in the battery compartment, so you'd have to make sure it's almost exactly the same dimensions of the standard 7.2 A-h. If you are just using the Genz Blue-Box there is a little more room for a slightly bigger battery.
