Terova vs. Powerdrive V2

I notice there is a big price difference between to the types of trolling motors. I was just wondering if anyone out there could educate me on what they are. Just curious if I can justify buying a terova or not. Thanks in advance.

The footpedal is a better design on the Terova, but for me it wasn't $200 better. I went with a 70 PD US AP V2 60" shaft and couldn't be happier.

I've used both and really am not all that impressed with the Terrova foot pedal. There's nothing wrong with it, I just wouldn't say it was that much of an improvement. It takes up more room in the boat which can be an issue if you're leaning on a pro pole or seating on a seat (instead of standing on the deck), and I think you need to do more and farther leg movements to control it. I'm not complaining about it, I'm just saying I wouldn't buy it "just" for the new foot pedal.
