Muskie ?

I'm sure people have heard this one before, but are there any Muskies in the whitefish chain anywhere?

No there aren't

I cannot confirm it personally, but I have heard on multiple occasions there have been muskies caught on one of the lakes in the WF chain. I am not too familiar with the chain myself, but I believe they said the fish migrated up the Pine River from the Mississippi.

There is a dam on Cross Lake where the Pine River exits the chain that would prevent that. I have heard rumors that 30 to 40 years ago there was an occasional one caught.
