18' Lund Alaskan price?

Without going through the song and dance at a dealer, does anyone know what a plain old 18' Lund Alaskan costs these days? 20' Alaskan?

I saw one in the late spring that was a barely used dealer demo with a 25hp Mercury 4-stroke that was under $10,000.

I was quoted about $14,000 or 15,000 for a 16' Alaskan with a 60 HP Yamaha four stroke. No options - just the boat, motor and trailer. I loved the Alaskan but I ended up buying an Alumacraft Yukon with a 50 HP Mercury four stroke. The only thing I wish the Yukon had was a bit wider beam.

The dealer that was selling an Alaskan with a 25 HP motor was unloading a boat that was way under powered. The 16' Alaskan is rated for up to 60 HP and it is a heavy boat. I bet with only 25 HP, that boat will go less than 20 MPH.

That was my question to the salesman. Is that 25 enough for this boat? Course he was pushing to sell the package. It may have been plenty if it was a rental boat in X fishing area ...
