Diago
I am looking for a resort or camping site on the southeast part of the lake that I can stay or camp at. Any Suggestions? Thanks, Jim
sabre
If you're okay with trailering your boat a few miles Abram Lake Park is just up the road on Abram/Minnitaki. It's a beautiful campground/resort, reasonable, and the Pizziol family are great people. Going back for the 2nd time this summer this weekend----
swedishpimple
Frog Rapids Camp is another great place. I have stayed at Abram Lake Park and Frog Rapids.....both are great. Frog Rapids is just down the road from Abram lake park, slightly closer to Sioux Lookout right at the bridge. The historic Indian battle took place at this location. Some say bones still make there way up out of the lake. Not sure if I believe that, but it is part of the legend/history. They also run cedar strip boats, have old wooden boat houses and an old fashioned ice house for storing your fish and bait. Not to mention lots of free ice for filling you livewell and coolers. Bigeye30"
We used to tent at Country Camping which is about five miles to the public access for Lost Lake, This resort has a few cabins I think maybe four and mostly tent and rv sites, however it is on Vermillion Lake or Botham Bay, so you would have to trailer a couple miles, but if your interested in fishing lake trout this is the go to lake in that area, oh why did we have to cancel this years trip, what a beautiful area up there. Have fun,
