Nils auger break-in question

I will be purchasing a Nils auger soon. I am wondering if you can break these in shorter periods, like 1/4 tank at a time. I'm pretty sure my neighbors aren't going to go for a four hour motor blast!

I went out to the lake in the winter and just drilled a pile of holes. It does take a few times but what an auger after that. No problem drilling a ton of holes as its fast and very light.

Good choice for an auger, I love mine.
