i caught her up in alex last year. She is not as big as she looks. I am doing the old humurous "hold her out in front of your body a long ways" i never put a stick or scale to her but i would guess just a little shy of 5. It was opening day and she had justed spawned out so she was skinny. i was just trying out a new combo that day that i had made over the winter. With Fresh powerpro on it and a brand spanking new jobee hook and a watermelon red yum dinger i hit the water in my sandals and shorts. First cast to where i thought the spawn beds were on the inside weedline a couple of hops and a few sunny pecks and WHAMO she thunder punched it. she gave a few good jumps and tried to swim between my legs. and then i lipped her ran to shore wife snapped a couple of nice pics and then back in the drink. I wish i would have at least measured length and girth that wouldn't have taken much longer. i am guessing that with eggs in her or a feed sack on her she would have gone five easy but i think with as skinny as she was i don't know if she would have gone 5. Sure was a good time. Thanks for inquireing and listening to my toooo long story.
