lookincalifornia Posted July 22, 2007 Share Posted July 22, 2007 i have not yet tried to boil pike but have read that some choose to boil in a clear pop(7-up, sprite, slice,etc..).when this is done, do you guys use just pop, or is there a pop to water ratio that boils best and still gives the desired sweetness? DIRTY BIKER Posted July 24, 2007 Share Posted July 24, 2007 Never done it with pike before just ellpout.I just boiled plain 7up no water drained then drizzle with garlic butter and thats fantastic,if you try it let us know how it is might have to try some instead of smoking or pickling them.
