I heard a rumor today that they are ICE fishing north of Willey Point. I did not get the exaxct location. They were fishing in 3-4" of water with tip-ups for northerns.

Can anyone confirm this information?

I cant comfirm that but I now parts of LOW have up to 3"-4" of ice on it!

Cant wait till it moves south a litle more so i can fish on it!

Maybe the chill in the air has given me wishful thinking. 3-4" on LOTW? Time to get the auger out!!! Anyone have set plans yet for URL for the 4th and 5th of Jan? I'll be at the Shooks Royal if anyone is interested in meeting up and wants to slam some crappies.

12 degrees this morning. The river in town had scimmed over with ice which means some of the backwater places which have been frozen for almost 2 weeks may be ready this weekend. Can't wait......
