Pflueger Summit.

I just picked up a Pflueger Summit. Tryed to set the centrifugal break and couldn't get the cover off the way the Instructions said. Well there were a lot of words said in my head. I went back to where the reel was sold and had the man at the counter show me how to take the cover off. The instruction say; push the button and turn the cover counter-clockwise. This is wrong! You have to turn the cover clockwise. I hope this saves someone from having to say alot of word in there head.

SUMMIT??? I have 4 of those and din't know you could do that............hehehehe....should've read the book I guess.

Wow! $600.00 on just fishing reels in one year. I could only wish to have that kind of money for fishing . So what kind of rods did you put them on? I went with a Gander Mt, Ultimate medium, fast. At around $79.00 I couldn't pass it up . That would place you at $920.00. Wow!

Threw them on All-Star Platinum and Team Allstars. Can't say I paid retail on them though. Have a friend or 2 at Shakespeare.
