Guest
Bought a fish trap guide last year and my "friend" burnt a small hole with the lantern. Is there any patches available. Thanks for any and all help.
Surface Tension
Use any iron on patch. You dont see them much anymore but when I was a kid everyone had iron on patches on the knees of there bluejeans. I guess that wouldnt be cool now a days. The youngsters today like there pants 5 sizes to big with the crocth down to there ankels. Maybe those patched knees will come back into style like Hiphuggers and Bellbottoms did. Steve Foss
Go to WalMart in the fabric section. They have iron-on and self-adhesive. I got both for my Trap II, expecting the self-adhesive one wouldn't hold up and I'd end up using the iron-on. The adhesive one worked just great, and is still holding up after a season's hard use. Just make sure you put a block of wood or other smooth hard surface on the other side of the fabric, and make sure the Trap fabric is slack with no bunches or gathers, and it'll work great. Press and rub hard, just like when you're on a date.
