We have a keeper league, do you guys think Larry Johnson is going to be worth keeping for the year? I heard there is turmoil, and the offensive line is in shambles. I can keep 3, I got Carson Palmer, LT, LJ, and Houshmenzadah as viable choices on my team.

It depends on the league, I play in a keeper auction league where you have to keep paying $5 more every year to keep the same player. I too have LT and LJ but it will cost almost %80 of my cap to keep them both. So, I may release LJ and take a flyer on Brandon Jacobs for $6.

But, if you have no cap etc. keep LT, LJ, And Palmer. Recievers are a deep bunch and you could probably pick Housh or someone better with your first pick.

LT, LJ and Carson. If something happens to LJ trade him. Someone will take him. In a keeper league running backs are at a premium. In my league you can keep one guy for three years. This is my last year for Stephen Jackson. If I am out of the running mid-season I will trade him for a high pick.

I also forgot to mention, IF LJ holds out for a new contract and is more than a week late for camp I won't hesitate to drop him. Players that have long hold outs have a long history of injury. And I don't want to risk a high salary on that.

I almost can't release Larry, because I am also in an auction keeper league, but get this... I only have to pay $1.00 for him! I picked him with my 2nd to last pick 2 years ago when Priest was the man, and got lucky. BUT... will probably be actively shopping him after the draft, hoping for a great trade.
