Green Sunfish Size?

hey all I got a question, I caught a 8 1/4" Green Sunfish the other day. I never really caught them before so is that pretty big? I kept it and am going to eat it cuz it was a nice eater. But just curious about the size of them and how big they get.

Not sure how big they get. I've caught them as big as 9inches. They can be green or hybrid greens.

my friend has caughten them up to 10 1/2 inches

I know of a little spot to go and catch 9 1/4" greens. I have been waiting for a true ten, maybe this winter!
