Canoe carrier

Recommended Posts

While deer hunting some new land last fall, I found a place that I really want to try for duck hunting. The problem is that it is probably about a mile back in the woods and on public land (so I couldn't just drag a canoe out and leave it for the season). Does anybody use any type of carrier to transport their canoes? The woods is open enough that I would be able to use something with wheels to get it out there, but I don't know where to start? Any suggestions? I would rather be able to load my canoe with all me gear and push it out there than make several trips. Thanks

Just Google "canoe cart" and you will come up with several carts designed for transporting canoes. For rough terrain, you would want something with larger diameter tires. For soft ground, a wide tire is best.
