Last night Dtro and I hit the river in search of some better flathead fishing. It was slow at best and 1 fish was caught.

I have been on somewhat of a hot streak and last night the streak ended with 1 fish going 9.5#'s. I did see one flattie surface and others surfacing but dont know for sure what specie they were.

Tom I know how your feeling on that one! Fishing was great all spring didn't matter where I was Fishing it seemed I could catch good size fish! Then bang shot down! and your without a boat for 3 weeks and your fishing goes from great to almost non existant! But got the block back this afternoon so should be back to fishing tomrrow night!

Tom we'll have to get out fishing one of these night!

I tell you what if it isn't one thing its another! So got the block back started putting the pistons in at 5 today got all of them in but the one that burnt up pull the piston out of the box and walla! A piston thats 2 inches smaller than we need! I just can't win! Now we have to wait to have the right one shipped out, so maybe be back in action by this weekend!I hope!

I would not worry Tom! We still have a ways to go and July and Aug. are not to be ruled out by any means. Even the "Greats" have their days...
