[Central Bassman]

Has anyone ever been up there fishing Walleyes and Small Mouth. I will be heading up there in late Aug with a group of guys and was wondering how that fishing is??? I know there will be walleyes but is there alot of Smallies??

I usually go up there for Muskies but have done the Walleye/Smallmouth/Pike thing in late may and the end of august. The fish up there tend to move quite deep towards the end of august but we found some fish shallow. Quite a few smallmouths in the system. The fishing for eyes and smallies can be very good up in big sand that time of the year.
